Prostate Support Potion

Prostate Vitality Elixir

A wildcrafted formula for the aging masculine body that addresses the root issues.

This formula was built for men who want to stay in relationship with their own vitality as they age.

This formula is made with the intention of helping men who have started noticing their own body differently. Perhaps you were told, “this is just what happens after fifty,” and left it at that. It took me years of actually creating this formula myself, because lets face it, men aren’t really going around talking about this with everyone. I created this formula for men who have been quietly reading the signals their body is screaming at them to pay attention to.

This formula was made for the symptoms that tend to show up first, and get dismissed longest:

  • Waking two or three times a night to urinate
  • A hesitant start when trying to urinate
  • A weaker stream than you remember having
  • The sense of never fully emptying the bladder
  • Dribbling, stopping and starting mid-stream
  • Urgency that arrives suddenly and demands attention now
  • A dull ache or heaviness in the lower pelvis or groin
  • Discomfort or pressure during or after ejaculation
  • A general sense of pelvic congestion or sluggishness, hard to name but easy to feel

This potion can be used in combination with Kidney & Urinary and Liver & Detox

The Prostate Vitality Elixir works within a larger system, and it can be used alongside two other formulas built to support the same terrain:

The prostate is a vital organ. It sits at the center of men’s reproductive, urinary, and hormonal life, and when it is out of balance, the effects ripple outward. This formula was built with that whole picture in mind, not just the gland itself, but the circulation, lymph, and hormonal clearance that surround it. And because I am not a man, it took me a while (cough cough 5 years) to actually create a formula that I felt would get to the root cause.

Understanding what the Prostate actually does

The prostate is a walnut-sized gland sitting just below the bladder, wrapped around the urethra like a ring around a stem. That position is the root of almost everything men experience as they age. The urethra runs straight through the center of the gland, so whatever happens to the prostate happens, directly, to the flow of urine.

Its job is fluid, literally. The prostate produces a significant portion of the fluid that carries and nourishes sperm during ejaculation, fluid rich in enzymes, zinc, and citrate that keep sperm viable and mobile. It is also hormonally reactive tissue. Testosterone is converted inside the prostate into dihydrotestosterone, DHT, a more potent androgen that drives the gland’s growth. This conversion is normal and necessary in youth, but unfortunately it becomes the mechanism behind the gland’s slow enlargement as men age.

That enlargement, benign prostatic hyperplasia, is close to universal. Most men will experience some degree of it if they live long enough. The tissue thickens, the ring tightens around the urethra, and the bladder has to work harder to push urine through a narrowing channel. This is what shows up as the frequent night time waking, the hesitant start, the stream that used to be strong and now isn’t, the sense of never fully emptying your bladder. None of this is a personal failure of your body. It is mechanical, common, and exactly the kind of slow congestion that responds to supporting circulation and lymphatic drainage rather than fighting the tissue directly.

Inflammation is the other major thread. Prostatitis, inflammation of the gland, can arise from infection or from no identifiable cause at all, and it brings its own pattern of pelvic discomfort, urinary irritation, and referred ache into the lower back and groin. Chronic, low-grade pelvic congestion, poor circulation, and lymphatic sluggishness all set the stage for that inflammation to take hold and linger.

The prostate does not operate in isolation. It depends on healthy circulation to receive nutrients and clear waste, on an unobstructed lymphatic system to drain inflammation before it becomes chronic, and on a liver capable of clearing spent hormones like excess estrogen and DHT so they do not accumulate and drive further tissue growth. A man’s hormonal picture in midlife is not just testosterone declining. It is often estrogen, relatively, rising, as aging bodies convert more testosterone to estrogen through a process called aromatization. That shifting ratio is part of what drives prostate tissue growth, and it is why a formula addressing the prostate has to address the whole terrain around it, not the gland alone.

How This Formula Works With That Picture

Twenty plants, gathered by hand, each carrying a piece of the work. This potion was built to support healthy circulation to the pelvic region, encourage lymphatic drainage, support the liver’s clearance of spent hormones, and nourish the tissues men depend on for decades of function. It is not a fast fix. It is a rhythm, five days on, two days off, so the body has room to integrate rather than override.

How to Take It

3–7 drops daily, taken consistently, for 5 days. Rest for 2 days. Repeat the cycle. Start at the lower end of the range and let your own body tell you where it wants to sit.

The Plant Allies

Cleavers Galium aparine

Cleavers is one of the great lymphatic movers in the plant world, and its work here is foundational. It drains the lymphatic pathways of the groin and pelvis, clearing the stagnant fluid and cellular waste that accumulate around a congested prostate. Where circulation has slowed and tissue has begun to hold what it should be releasing, cleavers opens the channel back out.

Chickweed Stellaria media

Chickweed is cooling and demulcent, moving directly into irritated, inflamed tissue to soothe it. It carries a dissolving quality, breaking down cellular buildup and supporting the body in clearing what has accumulated in the pelvic tissue over years of low-grade congestion.

American Sycamore Platanus occidentalis

Sycamore bark carries a strong lymphatic affinity, moving fluid through tissue that has grown sluggish. Alongside cleavers, it drives the drainage work of this formula, pulling stagnant lymph out of the pelvic basin so inflammation has nowhere to root and linger.

Muscadine Vitis rotundifolia

Muscadine is dense with polyphenols and resveratrol, native Southern grape medicine that protects tissue from the oxidative damage that accumulates in glandular tissue under decades of hormonal and metabolic load. It works at the cellular level, defending the prostate’s own tissue integrity.

Matcha Camellia sinensis

Stone-ground green tea, concentrated in catechins, particularly EGCG, compounds studied for their action on androgen-driven tissue growth. Matcha brings sustained, steady energy without the crash of caffeine alone, and its antioxidant density protects the same tissue muscadine is working to defend.

Stinging Nettle Urtica dioica

Nettle root is one of the most specific plants in Western herbalism for the aging male reproductive system. It binds to the same proteins that testosterone and DHT compete for, easing the hormonal pressure that drives prostate tissue to thicken. Root and leaf together support healthy urinary flow and ease the frequency and urgency that come with a swelling gland.

Lobelia Lobelia inflata

Lobelia is a powerful relaxant and mover, included here to keep the rest of the formula circulating rather than pooling. It relaxes smooth muscle tension in the pelvic floor and urinary tract, easing the gripping and spasm that accompanies a constricted urethra.

Rosemary Rosmarinus officinalis

Rosemary drives circulation and stimulates hepatic clearance, the liver’s capacity to metabolize and remove spent estrogen and DHT before they recirculate and continue driving tissue growth. Its rosmarinic acid brings anti-inflammatory action directly into the pelvic bed alongside its liver work.

Ocotillo Fouquieria splendens

Ocotillo is a pelvic circulatory plant with a specific affinity for stagnation in the reproductive organs. It drives blood and lymph directly into the pelvic basin, ensuring the prostate has the fresh circulation it needs to clear waste and receive the nutrients the rest of this formula is delivering.

Poke Root Phytolacca americana

Poke root is among the strongest lymphatic and glandular remedies in the herbal tradition, moving directly into swollen, congested glandular tissue and stimulating its clearance. Used here in careful low dose within a formula built around a rest cycle, it does the deep work that gentler lymphatics can only support from the outside.

Uva Ursi Arctostaphylos uva-ursi

Uva ursi carries arbutin, a compound the body converts into a potent urinary antiseptic, easing irritation and supporting a healthy inflammatory response through the urinary tract. It brings direct comfort to the burning, urgency, and irritation that accompany prostate swelling.

Wild Quinine Parthenium integrifolium

An underused lymphatic herb with a specific pull toward glandular tissue. Wild quinine works alongside cleavers and sycamore, deepening this formula’s drainage action where fluid has pooled and stagnated around the prostate.

Thuja Thuja occidentalis

Thuja has a long tradition with glandular and lymphatic tissue specifically, moving into swollen glands and stimulating their return to normal size and function. Included here it brings a targeted glandular action, the gentler plants in this formula don’t reach alone.

Chaparral Larrea tridentata

A desert plant with one of the longest and most storied lineages in herbal medicine, chaparral has been reached for by traditional healers for generations to support the body’s deepest detoxification work and cellular resilience. Its resin is dense with NDGA, a compound studied for its antioxidant power at the cellular level.

Goldenrod Solidago canadensis

Goldenrod is a true kidney and urinary tonic, moving fluid through the kidneys and easing the inflammatory load on the urinary tract as a whole. It works downstream of the prostate, supporting the entire system that a swollen gland puts under pressure.

Dandelion Taraxacum officinale

Root and leaf drive liver and kidney function directly, clearing the hormonal metabolites and cellular waste that the rest of this formula is loosening and moving. Dandelion is the exit door. Without strong liver and kidney clearance, everything else in this formula has nowhere to go.

Smartweed Persicaria longiseta

A traditional remedy for pelvic and circulatory congestion, smartweed strengthens capillary walls and moves fluid through tissue that has grown stagnant. It works in the same terrain as cleavers and sycamore, reinforcing this formula’s drainage foundation from another angle.

Plantain Plantago major

Plantain is soothing and drawing, pulling inflammation and irritation out of tissue while calming what’s left behind. It brings a demulcent coat to urinary tissue that has grown raw from frequency and urgency.

Piñon Pine Resin Pinus edulis

Hand-gathered resin, dense and protective, carrying pine’s long relationship with immune support and grounded vitality.

The Menstruum

Extracted in agave spirit, chosen for its clean pull and its own long relationship with the desert plants in this formula.

The Stone

Each batch is set with a single quartz crystal, given intention for how these twenty plants will work as one voice rather than twenty separate ones.
